Edge Utility Networks Limited submitted its proposed Safety and Security of Supplies Enquiry Service Statement to us as part of the licence application process. In this letter, we approve Edge Utility Networks Limited's statement following our assessment that it meets the requirements of SLC 8. We note that this submission is in advance of Edge Utility Networks Limited commencing operations as an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO). Therefore, we expect the IDNO to review the accuracy and effectiveness of its Enquiry Service after it has begun to operate. The review should consider how other network operators fulfil their obligations, and what stakeholders consider to be best practice.
