Under section 8A(2) of the Act, the Authority has modified the standard conditions of the Licence. The modifications (as proposed) are set out in the Notice under section 8A(3) of the Act which we published at: Vital Energi Power Networks Limited - notice of statutory consultation | Ofgem The reason why the Authority made the licence modifications is to protect the interests of consumers by: ensuring that the standard licence conditions applicable to Distribution Services Providers are disapplied in relation to Electricity Distributors to whom the requirements of Section B of the standard conditions do not apply; regulating Vital Energi Power Networks Limited’s charges in respect of domestic customers for the use of its distribution system on grant of the Licence; and imposing requirements on Vital Energi Power Networks Limited in respect of its creditworthiness and indebtedness on grant of the Licence. This document is notice of the reasons for the Authority’s decision for the purposes of section 49A(2) of the Act.
