These changes will allow recovery of Ofgem’s costs relating to set up and operation of the regulatory framework for heat networks. We have reviewed the responses and considered stakeholder views on the amendments. Based on the responses to the consultation, we will progress with our proposed changes to Ofgem’s cost recovery principles document. Ofgem will invoice licensees for the 2024/25 costs of the heat networks regulation team in June 2024. The document linked to below summarises stakeholder responses, our response to that feedback and presents our decision in detail.
