Due to delays completing Hinkley Point C by the developer, NGET has postponed completion of the Melksham substation works until 2028 to align with the revised forecast completion date. This is a statutory consultation to modify the delivery date in Special Condition 3.13 Large Onshore Transmission Investments Re-opener of NGET’s electricity transmission licence.
