This document sets out our decisions to implement a regulatory approval and funding framework for the onshore electricity transmission projects recommended by the ESO, including plans for how projects will be approved and funded following the next iteration of the ESO's network planning process. This decision also sets out how the projects involved interact with Ofgem's implementation of onshore competition and provides guidance for a new governance process to deal with scope changes on major electricity transmission projects.
