Details of outcome Ofgem has directed that UNC Modification 0884 be implemented. The change extends the read submission window for Profile Class 4 (PC4) sites, allowing more valid meter reads to enter settlement. This is expected to reduce Unidentified Gas (UIG), improve Annual Quantity (AQ) accuracy, and reduce the need for manual AQ fixes and repeat site visits. Start date To be confirmed by the Code Administrator. Code modification description UNC Modification 0884 was raised by Ovo Gas Ltd on 11 June 2024. It seeks to extend the read submission window for PC4 meter reads beyond the current 25 Supply Point System Business Days (SPSBDs). The change introduces staggered benchmarks for both domestic and non-domestic premises to ensure timely data flow while allowing flexibility for complex reads. The modification was proposed in response to industry feedback and analysis showing that many valid reads are excluded from settlement due to timing constraints.
