doloop.energy
GB energy regulatory intelligence.
doloop.energy tracks regulatory publications from the three bodies that shape GB energy policy: the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem), the National Energy System Operator (NESO), and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).
Publications are ingested daily via official APIs, then analysed by AI to produce impact rankings, plain-language summaries, and structured metadata. The goal is a single, scannable view of what matters for energy availability and competitiveness.
Sources
- DESNZ — GOV.UK publications API
- NESO — CKAN data portal API
- OFGEM — GOV.UK publications API
How it works
A Python pipeline runs daily: ingesting new publications, extracting text from PDFs, and sending content to Claude for structured analysis. Results are exported as static JSON and built into this site via Next.js.
Limitations
AI-generated summaries and impact scores are assistive, not authoritative. Always check the original source for anything you act on. Ofgem coverage is limited to their GOV.UK presence; their main website and Citizen Space consultations are not yet fully captured.
